Music being my boundless muse, I translate the language of notation into original, digital artworks. Each composition is a vibrant depiction of music's ineffable beauty.

Each digital mark is inspired by the rise and fall of the melody, the rhythm's pulse providing the cadence. The resulting pieces are symphonies of pigment-rich, vibrant compositions that give form to music's ethereal grace.

What emerges on the digital canvas is not just colour, but the very essence of the composition laid bare, its internal beauty made manifest through my hand (or finger on the pulse as I draw via the mousepad).

My art does not merely interpret the music - but renders it anew as an immersive visual experience.

In the music wellness program that I teach on Thursday,

I introduced my adult students to one of your art pieces and they danced with coloured scarves to the music while viewing the art piece on a big screen.....

    So lovely, so thank you!

I want others to see and appreciate your creative work.

    (Referring to D2D panels 3 and 4).

They are now the ying and yang of creativity in my room and a reminder for me to try new ideas, explore new areas of music and to try and make a difference with the work I do.

The panel on the right signifies the germ of an idea - abstract lines and the outline of a paper plane in there as well = the birth and flight of the creative process.

The panel on the left signifies the idea taking shape - the space in the bottom left signifies me sorting the idea out , clearing out the parts that aren’t so good and making space for the whole thing to work .

The rest of it is down to me - hard work and bringing the idea to life .

It’s a reminder that creative ideas are all around .

Today I visited the gallery. Your work looked fantastic there.

As luck would have it I had a pair of earbuds with me, so I scanned the QR codes and listened, then set about seeing / feeling the music in the art.

I got it. OMG I loved 'Song of the World' so much. First of all, it is beautiful…he disc reminiscent of Vinyl and CD, but the excitement as the greens showed up about 40% of the way through and the mood in the piece rose. Then when the two white 'blanks' sounded exactly as I thought they would, short silences, first short, then a longer one I was totally hooked. I had to stand there for two replays, looking deeper and 'scanning' the disc at the right speed.
